Behnaz Salemi

Behnaz Salemi, MBA, has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Behnaz is currently serving as the Director of Client Development Fine Jewelry at Saks Fifth Avenue since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a District Sales Manager at Signet Jewelers from November 2020 to November 2021. Behnaz also held multiple roles at Macy's, including Director of Merchandise Planning from March 2019 to November 2020, and Customer Development Manager from March 2019 to May 2019. Starting their career at Burberry in 2014, Behnaz held the positions of National Director from October 2014 to January 2019, where they were responsible for driving consistent performance through innovative product design and dynamic retail strategies. Behnaz also served as a General Manager at Burberry from February 2014 to October 2014, overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring profitability and sales growth.

Behnaz Salemi obtained an Executive MBA degree in 2009 from McGill University. Behnaz also completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis from McGill University in 2007. Behnaz recently pursued a Coloured Gemstone Course at GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and is currently studying for a DCA / Certified Diamonologist degree from the Diamond Council of America. It is also worth noting that they are considering another Executive MBA degree from McGill University.
