Mikko Kaukoranta

Mikko Kaukoranta is the Corporate VP, Global HR & Corporate Development at Salcomp. Mikko has over 20 years of experience in finance and executive leadership roles.

Mikko Kaukoranta started their career in 1989 as VP Materials & Finance at Kvaerner Masa-Yards. Mikko then moved on to Kvaerner Philadelphia Shipyard Inc. in 1997, where they served as CFO & VP Procurement. In 2003, Kaukoranta became a partner at Distant Coast Partner, where they worked on projects for Ramirent Oyj and Andriz AG. Kaukoranta left Distant Coast Partner in 2006 to become the CFO at Huhtamaki, where they worked until 2004.

Kaukoranta has been with Salcomp since 2005. In their current role, they are responsible for global HR and corporate development. Under their leadership, Salcomp has grown into a leading global provider of mobile power solutions.

Mikko Kaukoranta holds an MBA from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and an MS in Naval Architecture and Machine Design from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.

Their manager is Markku Hangasjärvi, President & CEO. They work with Jari Saarinen - CFO, Pekka Kyyriäinen - Corporate VP, Global Quality & Operations, and Antero Palo - Corporate VP, Sales & Marketing.
