Lauri Pitkänen

Lauri Pitkänen is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Country Manager for Finland at Saldo Bank since July 2018, Lauri previously held positions as Director of Digital Services and Digital Strategist at OSG Agency Oy, and was a Board Member at Konvertigo, a company focused on localized digital marketing. Lauri's career includes serving as Chief Marketing Officer for Vertaislaina Oy, where peer-to-peer lending services Lainaaja and Luotottaja were developed, and as an entrepreneur in digital marketing and market research since 2010. Additionally, Lauri has held academic positions, including a Doctoral student at Turku School of Economics, with a focus on digital marketing communication processes for crowdfunding campaigns. Educational accomplishments include a D.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration and an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Turku School of Economics, as well as studies at Copenhagen Business School and Aalto University.
