Darrell Gillmeister

Darrell Gillmeister is a seasoned software engineering executive with extensive experience in mobile technology and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as SVP of Software Engineering at Salesforce since October 2010, Darrell is known for leading innovative projects such as Agentforce and integrating AI-powered solutions into mobile applications. Previous roles at Salesforce included Vice President, where Darrell defined the architectural vision for mobile, and Senior Director, where a tenfold increase in the mobile organization was achieved. Prior to Salesforce, Darrell worked at Velti as a Senior Software Architect, developing a pioneering iOS SDK for rich media advertising, and held multiple positions at Iris Financial Solutions, focusing on equity trading systems. Darrell’s career began with contributions to decision support systems at various organizations, underscored by a strong educational background in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Colorado Boulder.
