Paula Goldman

EVP & Chief Ethical & Humane Use Officer at Salesforce

Paula Goldman is the current Chief Ethical and Humane Use Officer at Salesforce. Prior to this, they served on the Supervisory Board at Pymwymic, an impact investment fund, from January 2017 to April 2019. From January 2015 to December 2018, Paula was the Vice President, Global Lead - Tech and Society Solutions Lab at Omidyar Network. In this role, they helped tech companies and civil society better anticipate societal risks arising from new technology. Paula has also been a Social Impact Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business from January 2015 to June 2016. Furthermore, they have served as faculty at Mills College from January 2009 to December 2009 and at UC Berkeley from January 2008 to December 2009. Paula has also been a member of the National AI Advisory Committee. Finally, they were the Executive Director of the U.S. National Advisory Board on Impact Investing from December 2013 to December 2014.

Paula Goldman has a PhD from Harvard University in their dissertation on how unorthodox ideas become mainstream. Paula also has a Masters from Princeton University in Public Affairs and International Development, and they are a Nomura Public Affairs Fellow. Finally, they have a B.A from UC Berkeley in Political Economy.
