Zhidong Yang

Zhidong (Zack) Yang is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as SVP of Software Engineering at Salesforce since September 2022, Zhidong oversees the Tableau Analytics and Data Model team. Prior to Salesforce, Zhidong held various leadership roles at Amazon from September 2010 to September 2022, including Director of Software Development for the Buy With Prime initiative and the Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) Core team, where Zhidong managed a global engineering team of over 300 professionals. Zhidong's earlier career at Microsoft spanned from July 1996 to September 2010, where Zhidong led the People Experience team for Windows Phone and contributed to major developments in Windows Mobile and Exchange Server. Zhidong holds a BS&MS in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
