John Jackson

John Jackson has a diverse work experience in various roles related to sales, risk management, and avalanche forecasting. Since December 2021, they have been working as a Senior Sales Development Representative at SalesGig. Prior to that, they held the position of Sales Development Representative at the same company starting from March 2021. From November 2017 to November 2021, John worked as a Specialist in Avalanche Risk Management at Cesmec SA, una empresa Bureau Veritas. Before that, they worked at Mountain Safety from May 2014 to November 2021, where they served as an Avalanche Forecaster, Winter Risk Consultant, and Lead Avalanche Forecaster. John also has experience in Gazex Installation at Pucarã S.A. and worked as a Nivologo at CENMA, providing avalanche forecasting services. Additionally, they have worked in ski patrol roles at Sol Vista Basin and Winter Park Resort, where they gained expertise in treating injured patients and managing staff. Throughout their career, John has completed various avalanche courses and contributed to the development of mountain bike trail systems.

John Jackson attended Colorado State University from 1998 to 2000 where they pursued two bachelor's degrees. John obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Exercise and Sports Medicine. In addition to their degrees, John also holds certifications as an EMT-B from the State of Illinois and a certification from the National Avalanche Society's National Avalanche School.
