Senior Product Designer at SalesLoft

Laurel Penha has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of design. Laurel started their career at Lehigh University as a Media Consultant, where they generated videos and design short films using Final Cut Pro. Laurel also worked as a National Science Foundation and Lehigh University intern, developing an energy-saving system called the Ambient Intelligence System for Saving Energy (AISSE).

Later, Laurel joined the Virgin Islands Public Television System as an IT Intern/Programming Archivist Intern, where they assisted in the development of a retrievable archival computer database and established a closed captioning workflow.

Laurel then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, followed by an internship at Adobe as a User Experience Design Intern. In this role, they explored and developed methods for experiencing PDF content in Virtual Reality (VR) and designed a high-fidelity prototype for enhancing VR content experiences.

Laurel then joined GE Digital as a User Experience Interaction Designer, where they worked for a year before joining Salesloft. At Salesloft, they initially worked as a Product Designer and was later promoted to Senior Product Designer. Laurel has contributed to the design process and has been responsible for creating medium-fidelity prototypes.

Throughout these roles, Laurel has demonstrated expertise in design, user experience, and interaction design. Laurel'swork experience showcases their ability to work in different settings and tackle diverse design challenges.

Laurel Penha pursued their education with a strong focus on computer science and human-computer interaction. In 2015, they enrolled at Georgia Tech and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human-Computer Interaction (MS-HCI) in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Lehigh University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
