Crescenzo D’Alessandro

Crescenzo D’Alessandro is the Chief Architect at Salience Labs. Crescenzo has over 18 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has held positions at some of the top companies in the world, including Huawei Technologies Research & Development (UK) Ltd, Sondrel Ltd, Imagination Technologies, and picoChip Designs Ltd.

D’Alessandro began their career as a Support Design Engineer at Seaward Electronics. Crescenzo then moved to picoChip Designs Ltd, where they worked as a Front-End Design Engineer for two years. In 2010, they joined Imagination Technologies as a Hardware Engineering Manager. Crescenzo spent seven years at Imagination Technologies, during which time they were promoted to Senior Hardware Design Engineer and then Lead Design Engineer.

In 2017, D’Alessandro left Imagination Technologies to join Sondrel Ltd as an SoC Architect. Crescenzo spent three years at Sondrel before moving to Huawei Technologies Research & Development (UK) Ltd, where they are currently working as a Senior CPU Architect.

Crescenzo D’Alessandro has a PhD in Microelectronics Systems Design from Newcastle University. Crescenzo also holds a BEng (Hons) in Microelectronics and Software Engineering from Newcastle University, and is certified by the Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer.
