Jenny Menna

Jenny Menna serves as the Chief Security Officer at Sallie Mae, where responsibilities include leading cyber and physical security functions and crisis management since May 2023. Menna is also a Fellow at the National Security Institute and a Board Member for FS-ISAC, chairing the Intelligence Committee. Previous positions include Vice President of Threat Management and Response, and Vice President of Business Security Risk at Humana, and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at U.S. Bank. Menna has extensive experience in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection from roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Academically, Menna holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Civilization from the same institution.
