Katie Drosky Gecan

Katie Drosky Gecan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the finance and operations industry. Katie is currently working as the Director of Structured Finance at Sallie Mae since 2023. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2023, they held multiple positions at Navient, including Manager of Treasury Operations, Supervisor of Structured Finance Operations, Structured Finance Operations Analyst, and Trust Administrator II. In these roles, they managed and oversaw the administration of trust assets and portfolios, distributed required reporting for asset-backed securities, monitored compliance with trust documents and regulations, processed payroll, and provided high-quality customer service.

Katie Drosky Gecan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Strayer University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Virginia Community College, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they have a certification in Corporate Trust I from the Cannon Financial Institute.
