Michael Castello

Michael Castello has a diverse background in compensation and executive compensation roles. Michael started their career at Merrill Lynch, where they worked as a Rule 144 Specialist and Plan Participant Services representative. At Tyco, they held various roles in total rewards, global equity administration, and executive compensation. Following that, Castello worked at Integra LifeSciences as the Global Leader of Executive Compensation, responsible for strategic guidance and governance. Currently, they are Vice President of Total Rewards and Payroll at Sallie Mae, where they oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll teams, and designs executive compensation programs aligned with company goals and values. Overall, Castello has had a strong focus on executive compensation and has been responsible for managing and implementing compensation programs in their previous roles.
