Shelley Krell

Shelley Krell has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Shelley is currently working as the Director of Financial Modeling & Analysis at Sallie Mae since May 2022. Before that, they spent several years at Navy Federal Credit Union, where they held various positions including Manager of Pricing & Data Analytics, Assistant Manager of Data Analytics & Projects, and Supervisor of HR Analytics & Technology. Prior to their time at Navy Federal, they worked as the Manager of Strategic Revenue Analytics at AvalonBay Communities. Shelley also has experience at Freddie Mac, where they served as a Senior Risk Modeling Manager, Risk Modeling Manager, and Senior Financial Analyst.

Shelley Krell has a BA degree in Economics and Government from American University. Shelley also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Finance from The George Washington University. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from the American Management Association in 2016.
