Amrut Chougale

Amrut Chougale has a range of work experience that spans various roles in the technology industry. Amrut is currently working as a Senior Customer Success Engineer at Salt Security, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, from July 2020 to February 2022, they were a Cloud DevOps Lead at Diversys Software, Inc.

Before their role at Diversys Software, Inc., Amrut worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Technical Account Manager from July 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they designed and implemented cloud infrastructure services, assisted customers in understanding best practices for advanced cloud solutions and cost optimization, and facilitated the transition and migration of projects and programs into a cloud environment.

From December 2017 to July 2019, Amrut worked as a Cloud Engineer at Voices.com, where they were responsible for building and maintaining AWS infrastructure for the company's corporate Cloud facilities. Prior to that, from August 2015 to December 2017, they worked as a Cloud Engineer at Xoriant, where they designed and developed solutions for data protection and storage, migrated workloads between different cloud solutions, and tested solutions for application blueprinting.

Before their role at Xoriant, Amrut gained experience at Symantec as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer from February 2008 to July 2015. In this role, they were involved in the replication and migration of virtual machines to private clouds, installed and maintained virtualization clusters, and tested clustered file systems.

Amrut began their career as a Junior System Administrator at Sellcraft Softec from June 2006 to February 2008. In this role, they configured centralized authentication, handled system administration and troubleshooting tasks on Linux operating systems, and managed backup servers.

Overall, Amrut Chougale has extensive experience in cloud services, infrastructure design, migration, and maintenance, as well as system administration and quality assurance.

Amrut Chougale completed their B.E in Computer Science and Engineering at KIT's College of Engineering from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In March 2015, they became Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC™) through SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In September 2017, they obtained certifications as AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services. Furthermore, in February 2017, Amrut achieved the AWS Solution Architect - Associate certification. Most recently, in May 2020, they obtained the highly regarded AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
