Giovanna Burns

Giovanna Burns serves as the Chief Financial Officer at SaltWorks®, Inc. since May 2022, bringing extensive experience in finance and investment banking. Prior to this role, Giovanna held senior positions at Meridian Capital, including Senior Vice President and Vice President, from November 2017 to February 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Banking Associate at D.A. Davidson Companies and Wells Fargo Securities, where contributions spanned both the Industrials and Financial Institutions Groups. Giovanna's academic background includes an MBA with honors in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as a Master of Accounting Science and Bachelor's of Science in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
