Stefan Kühleitner has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Stefan started their career in 1996 with a role in Bühnentechnik at Bayreuther Festspiele GmbH Theater. After that, they worked for Salzburger Stadtwerke AG as a technician in the Trafo- und Umspannerbereich and later in the Wärmevertrieb und Verteilung department.
In 2000, Kühleitner joined Salzburg AG für Energie, Verkehr und Telekommunikation. Their first role was as an IT Administrator & Project Manager, where they focused on service description, architecture, and implementing new technologies. Stefan then moved on to become the Head of IT Client Operations, where they had full responsibility for managing and optimizing client systems and applications.
In 2018, Kühleitner was promoted to the role of Head of IT Enterprise Business Solutions & Digital Lab. Here, they oversaw Energy Trading Systems, Enterprise Service Bus, Azure Cloud Monitoring Services, and software selection processes. Stefan also conducted market analyses and evaluated innovative trends and technologies.
After this, Kühleitner took on the role of Head of IT Development and Collaboration on an interim basis, where they coordinated internal software development and implemented and improved Microsoft M365 Suite for the entire company.
Currently, Kühleitner is working as the Digital Technology, Head of IT Modern Workplace at Salzburg AG. Their responsibilities include coordinating and managing internal software development, as well as implementing and enhancing the Microsoft M365 Suite for the organization.
Throughout their career, Kühleitner has demonstrated a strong focus on technology implementation, software development coordination, and staying up-to-date with innovative trends and technologies.

From an early stage, Stefan pursued a career in technical fields. Stefan started their education with an apprenticeship from 1993 to 1997, where they became a Facharbeiter specializing in Starkstrommonteur und Energietechniker.
Building upon this foundation, Stefan attended BFI Salzburg from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Werkmeister Elektrotechnik, specializing in Elektrotechnik/Techniker. Continuing their studies in the same institution, they pursued a Werkmeister degree in Informationstechnologie from 2001 to 2003.
In 2010, Stefan enrolled in the Josef Schumpeter Institut, which is now known as ASAS, to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business, Management, Marketing, and related supporting services. Stefan completed this program in 2012.
Further expanding their knowledge, Stefan attended KSÖ from 2015 to 2017, focusing on the field of Wirksam führen. During this time, they also undertook a Project Management program at Salzburg AG, specializing in Projektmanagement from 2010 to 2011.
To enhance their expertise in the field of Informationstechnologie, Stefan attended Wirtschaftskammer OÖ and obtained a degree in Ingenieur in Informationstechnologie. Stefan achieved this certification in April 2023.
In addition to their formal education, Stefan has also acquired industry certifications. Stefan became a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist in October 2020, certified by Scaled Agile, Inc.
