Christopher Tassone

Founder at Sama Learning

Christopher Tassone has been working in the materials science field since 2011. Christopher began their career as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource in 2011. In 2013, they moved to SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, where they served as Materials Science Hard X-ray Group Leader and Staff Scientist. In 2017, they became the Founder of Sama Learning. In 2021, they were appointed Materials Science Division Director for SSRL at SLAC.

Christopher Tassone obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from Santa Clara University between 2000 and 2004. Christopher then went on to obtain a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2005 and 2011.
