Elias Elias

Elias Elias has an extensive work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Elias is currently the Chief Legal & Sustainability Officer at Aya Gold & Silver since April 2020. Before that, they held the position of Vice President Corporate and Legal Affairs at both SRG Graphite Inc. and Sama Resources Inc from January 2018 onwards. Elias also worked as the VP Legal, Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Secretary at Aya Gold & Silver Inc. from April 2020 to November 2023. Prior to these roles, they served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Windiga Energy, a position they held from November 2013 to November 2023. Elias also worked as a Legal Counsel at Semafo Inc. from October 2011 to March 2014 and as a Legal Counsel at Gildan from October 2009 to October 2011. Elias began their career as an Attorney at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin from January 2008 to October 2009 and as an Attorney at Lapointe Rosenstein from 2007 to 2008. Elias also gained experience as an Articling - Law Clerk at the Quebec Court of Appeal from December 2006 to June 2007.

Elias Elias completed their education with a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from the University of Ottawa from 2001 to 2004. Elias then pursued a LLB degree at the same university from 2004 to 2005. Finally, in 2006 to 2007, Elias enrolled at Barreau and earned the degree of Membre du Barreau in Civil Law.
