Sylvester Nderitu

Sylvester Nderitu started their work experience in 2018 as an Academic Tutor at Cate Care Collage. In 2020, they became a Centre Manager and Hospitality Management Trainer at CAP Youth Empowerment Institute until 2021. In the same year, they joined Sama as a Machine Learning Team Lead, where they managed a team of 40 associates in data annotations for machine learning projects. Currently, Sylvester is also working as a Data Annotator at Remotask, where they are involved in image box labeling, Lidar projects annotations, and transcriptions.

Sylvester Nderitu obtained a Bachelor of Ecotourism and Hospitality Management degree from Kisii University between 2013 and 2017. In addition, they have acquired several certifications including Team Leader from Sama (obtained in 2022), Certificate of Participation in Peace Promotion and Conflict Resolution from Kisii University (obtained in 2017), Kenya Redcross Youth Membership from Kenya Red Cross (obtained in 2017), Certificate of Participation in Leadership and Mentorship Program from Ecotourism Kenya (obtained in 2016), and Introduction to Critical Infrastructure Protection (ICIP) from OPSWAT (obtained in January 2023).
