Gemma Lumsden

Gemma Hunter is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle since January 2022. Gemma has held various communication roles at Samaritans Foundation, including Communication Assistant, Marketing Business Partner, and Communication Officer, beginning in December 2018. Additionally, Gemma has been an Ophthalmic Assistant at Charlestown Eye Centre since December 2013, where a strong background in healthcare and customer service has facilitated effective communication with diverse individuals. Earlier experience includes working as a Barista at Coffee Guru from August 2012 to September 2014, which enhanced Gemma's customer service and time-management skills. Gemma holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Newcastle, completed in 2018.
