Charles Agba

Charles Agba is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in crisis counseling and research within public health. Currently serving as a Crisis Counselor at Samaritans Southcoast since May 2022, Charles has effectively supported individuals facing emotional distress and has played a crucial role in suicide prevention. Charles is also a John R. Lewis Project Imhotep Scholar at Morehouse College for summer 2024, enhancing knowledge in biostatistics and epidemiology through collaboration with the CDC. Additionally, Charles has contributed to research on HIV prevention as a Research Intern at US Helping US, and has interned with the Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc., facilitating connections for refugees with essential resources. Charles's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and ongoing studies in Nursing at The George Washington University.
