Shuo Yang

Shuo Yang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2013, Shuo worked as a Software Engineer at BMC Software until 2014. From 2014 to 2021, Shuo worked at ADARA, Inc., progressing through various roles including Senior Software Engineer, Manager, and Director of Software Engineering. In 2021, Shuo joined Niantic, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer and stayed until 2023. Currently, Shuo is employed at Samba TV as a Consulting Architect and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Director of Engineering.

Shuo Yang obtained a Master's Degree in Information Analysis & Retrieval and Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, from 2007 to 2011.
