Aino Kilpiö

Aino Kilpiö has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Aino is currently the Head of Customer Care at Sambla, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Salus Group Oy as the Head of Customer Care from December 2016 to November 2022.

Before their roles in customer care, Aino worked at Aalto University School of Science and Technology where they were a doctoral student and researcher from April 2005 to February 2008. During this time, they focused on finalizing peer-reviewed articles and writing a summary for their article-based dissertation, which explored the role of creative metaphors in institutional innovations.

Aino also held the position of Assistant at the same university's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, where they conducted doctoral studies in Environmental Strategies and Technology Assessment and did research for various projects from January 1999 to April 2005. In addition, Aino worked as a part-time teacher at Helsinki University of Technology's Department of Forest Products Technology in 1998 and 1999.

Earlier in their career, Aino worked as a Software Translator at Ceratina Logistics Oy, where they translated a warehouse management system from Swedish to Finnish. Aino also completed a Master of Science in Engineering thesis at UPM-Kymmene Ltd, conducting a comprehensive study on wastewater loads in a paper mill.

Aino Kilpiö began their education at Sotungin lukio, where they completed their Matriculation Examination in 1991. Aino then pursued a Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Environmental Protection Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, graduating in 1998. Aino continued their education by undertaking Doctoral Studies in Environmental Protection at Aalto University from 1999 to 2008.
