Alyssa Nerio has held three positions in the customer service and support sector. Alyssa began their career in 2016 as a Blackboard Instructional Support Specialist at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Alyssa then moved to Blackbaud in 2019 as a Customer Support Agent. Most recently, they joined SamCart in 2021 as a Tier 2 Customer Support Specialist.

Alyssa Nerio began their educational journey in 2009 when they attended South Texas College and obtained an Associate's degree in Psychology. Alyssa then returned to South Texas College in 2013 and obtained an Associate's degree in Fine and Studio Arts. In 2015, they moved on to The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design in 2018.
