Mason Tiffin

Mason Tiffin began their career in 2015 as a Summer Analyst at Evercore, where they completed research on performance metrics for economic trends, commodity mixes, and A&D transactions, and facilitated analysis of comprehensive performance and forecasting models for large-cap companies, as well as potential debt restructuring through credit risks, liquidity metrics, and cash flows. Mason also fulfilled fairness opinion valuations on assets by referring to discounted cash flows and net asset values. In 2016, Mason moved to Prosperity Bank as a Credit Analyst, where they were responsible for appraising credit and financial documents to determine risks, organizing reports for executive-level managers and board members, and establishing stress models to identify risks within diverse economic conditions. Mason also assessed debt schedules, cash flow, and income statements, and loans for risk grading assignment, and provided hands-on assistance in creating presentation packages for the board of managers, while supervising department workflow. In 2017, Mason joined Fluid Delivery Solutions as a Senior Business Data Analyst, where they supervised a team of business and data analysts to address various issues in processes and systems, while managing several business analysis functions across the organization. In 2020, Mason moved to Harbinger Analytics as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they developed business intelligence dashboards and reports via Tableau for the purpose of providing visual representation of business opportunities and market research to key stakeholders and potential investors, developing tracking metrics and KPIs for the progression of software implementation and development cycles, and mining data and providing data analytic services. Mason also rendered proposals for new technology initiatives by facilitating group sessions, as well as development of implementation decisions by conducting cost and benefit analyses for proposed systems, and evaluated client software and recommended cloud and hosted solutions to critical business needs by performing requirements analysis, technical requirements analysis, and developing system integration models, specifications, flow diagrams, and charts. In 2021, Mason joined Adwerx as an Analytics Engineer, and in 2022, they moved to SamCart as a Data Engineer.

Mason Tiffin has a diverse educational background. Mason obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Texas Tech University in 2015, majoring in both Management and Finance. In 2021, they began a Master's degree in Applied Data Science at the University of Michigan - School of Information. In addition to their degrees, Mason has obtained a number of certifications from Coursera and Tableau Software, including a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
