Sandesh Halarnkar

Sandesh Halarnkar has extensive work experience in the field of UX design and management. Sandesh is currently serving as the Director of UX Design at Sam's Club since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft where they held various roles including Senior Design Manager and Senior User Experience Designer from 2013 to 2021. Before joining Microsoft, Sandesh worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Hewlett-Packard from 2011 to 2013, where they were responsible for designing and testing user experiences for HP Officejet pro products. Sandesh also had significant experience at Yahoo!, where they served as a Lead Interaction Designer and Senior Interaction Designer from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Sandesh has worked at kanbay software, Uzanto consulting, Hewlett-Packard Research Lab, Honeywell Technology Solution Lab, and HTA in various design and internship positions.

Sandesh Halarnkar holds a Master of Design degree in New Media Design from the National Institute of Design, which they completed between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Applied Arts from Goa College of Fine Arts-Goa University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001.
