Kristen Labonte

Kristen LaBonte is an experienced Research and Engagement Librarian at UCSB Library since September 2011, specializing in departments such as Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology, and Environmental Studies, with additional responsibilities as Reference Co-coordinator for Geography and Psychological and Brain Sciences since July 2021. Concurrently, Kristen serves as a Life Sciences Librarian at SAMsARA Wine Co. and has held various positions including Reference Librarian and Instructor of Library Science at Santa Barbara City College since April 2009, and previous roles at CLOS PEPE VINEYARDS and CSU Channel Islands, showcasing a diverse background in library science and agriculture. Kristen holds a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor's Degree from UC Santa Barbara.
