Megan Tucker

Megan Tucker has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Program Manager II, R&D Operations at Samsara since 2021. At Samsara, they have also held positions as an Incident & Escalations Manager and a Connected Equipment, Technical Support Engineer III. In these roles, Megan demonstrated their technical skills by launching technical support articles and becoming the principal resource for support on the industrial gateway product line. Megan also joined the Pride leadership committee during their time at Samsara.

Prior to Samsara, Megan worked at Wildeye Monitoring as a Customer Support Engineer from 2018 to 2021. Here, they spearheaded the creation of client-facing support articles and led a project to replace 1800 units of a 4G IoT device across five countries. Megan also gained expertise in implementing certification for Verizon Wireless SIM Card 4G IoT compliance devices.

Before Wildeye Monitoring, Megan was employed at Dynamax, Inc. where they held various roles, including Application Engineer/Office Manager and Application Engineer. During their tenure, they compiled documentation, designed new sensor dimensions, and brought the Houston-based company up to industry standards.

Megan began their career at NUtech Ventures as a Commercialization Analyst, evaluating potential patents from the Agricultural and Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Megan then worked as an Energy Efficiency Engineer Intern at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they conducted an analysis to identify energy efficiency projects for the agricultural industry.

Megan Tucker obtained their Associate's Degree in Associates of Applied Science from Metropolitan Community College in 2009, and they finished their Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2013. Megan then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Megan Tucker has acquired various certifications, including "Program Management Foundations" and "Agile Project Leadership" from LinkedIn in 2023, "Agile: It's Not Just for Software" from LinkedIn in 2022, and "Yellow Belt of Lean Six Sigma Methodology" and "White Belt of Six Sigma Methodology" from SixSigma.us in 2017.
