Zach K. has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Zach started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Stat-Ease in 2008 and then worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Maverick Software Consulting in 2009. Zach also interned as a Software Engineer at Telluride Asset Management in 2009.

In 2017, Zach joined Samsara as a Senior Software Engineer II, Team Lead. Their responsibilities at Samsara include ramping up a new full-stack inspections team, long-term architecture design, project management, implementation, and mentorship. Zach has been instrumental in developing core products such as a custom digital form builder and an issue management system.
Zach was promoted to the role of Engineering Manager at Samsara in 2020. As the Engineering Manager, they led the driver app and mobile infra teams and the compliance workflow team. Zach was responsible for driving OKR and roadmap planning using data-driven analysis and customer feedback.
