Francis Whoyoung Jung has several years of experience in customer service and quality management roles within Samsung. Francis Whoyoung started as a Product Process Engineer in 1999, where they handled sample builds and scheduling for R&D products. Francis Whoyoung then became a Customer On-site support Engineer, appointed as the customer on-site contact and responsible for failure verification and analysis. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as an Associate Customer Quality Manager, resolving LCD quality issues and participating in customer meetings. Francis Whoyoung later joined Samsung Semiconductor Europe as the Customer Quality Manager, managing local B2B relationships and working on quality initiatives. Most recently, they served as the Head of Customer Service at Samsung Display, overseeing after-sales service processes and defining product service strategies.
Francis Whoyoung Jung obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Chungnam National University, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the certification of Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) - MENA in December 2012.
