Mikeil Lee has a diverse work experience in finance and controlling roles. Mikeil started off as a Quality and Risk Management Associate at EY in 2007, where they conducted pre-audits and reviewed audit reports. Mikeil then worked as an Assistant Finance Manager at Samsung Electro-Mechanics from 2008 to 2012, focusing on P&L analysis, finance closing, budgeting, and forecasting. Mikeil moved on to BASF in 2012 as a Global Business Unit Controlling Manager, responsible for ensuring data quality in global consolidated P&L. In 2016, they joined CJ CheilJedang as Head of Finance and Senior Business Development Manager, where they analyzed M&A opportunities and provided financial advisory. In 2017, they returned to Samsung Electro-Mechanics as a Senior Manager in Finance and Accounting, handling budgeting, business analysis, and process improvement. Most recently, they became the Head of Controlling at Samsung Electro-Mechanics Europe, overseeing arm-length pricing, company profitability, and sales portfolios.
Mikeil Lee has a strong educational background in accounting and business administration. Mikeil earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Seoul in 2004. Mikeil further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Accounting in 2007. Prior to their higher education, Lee attended Banpo High School. In addition to their academic achievements, they also hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, obtained from the AICPA in February 2012.
