Lewis T. is a Senior Scientist at Biosplice Therapeutics since August 2021, focusing on the design and synthesis of CLK/DYRK kinase inhibitors while managing CROs and medicinal chemistry projects. Prior to this role, Lewis served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute under Prof Kim Janda, working on diverse projects in synthetic organic chemistry and protein expression. Lewis earned a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Leeds, where the research involved developing selective FGFR kinase inhibitors through a de novo design approach. Additionally, Lewis contributed as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Leeds, guiding undergraduate students in medicinal chemistry experiments.
