Matthew Jarvis is a Principal Scientist at Biosplice Therapeutics since September 2021, focusing on developing first-in-class small-molecule therapeutics through innovative research in alternative pre-mRNA splicing and its connection to CLK/DYRK kinases. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Senior Scientist at the University of Minnesota from September 2014 to September 2021, where research involved the regulatory mechanisms of the APOBEC3 enzyme subfamily in cancer and viral evolution. Additional experience includes exploring genomic proteins of viruses and conducting complex laboratory procedures in various academic and research settings.
