Liz Carolina Calderon, MSH has a diverse range of work experience in the events and hospitality industry. Liz Carolina currently serves as the Director of Special Events at the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Prior to this, Liz was an Event Planner at LCC Events and an Event and Media Manager at Animal Friends of the Valleys. Liz Carolina also held positions as the Director of Events at Light Up The Night and a Corporate Event Planner at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Liz has experience as a Manager of Events at Team National and as a Group Coordinator at InterContinental Miami. Liz Carolina began their career as a Restaurant Supervisor at California Tortilla and gained early experience as an Internship Secretary at Precision Meetings & Events. With their extensive background in event planning and management, Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role.

Liz Carolina started their education at Broadneck Senior High School from 2008 to 2011, where they earned their high school diploma.

Afterwards, Liz attended Florida International University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Hospitality Administration/Management. Liz Carolina studied at the university from 2011 to 2015.

Continuing their education at the same institution, Liz pursued a Masters of Science (MS) in Hospitality Administration/Management. Liz Carolina completed their master's degree from Florida International University in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Liz also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received a Custom Webcast Certification of Completion from Northstar Travel Group. In the same year, they also obtained a Meeting and Event Planning certification from Florida International University. In 2015, Liz also became a Cvent Event Management Professional certified by Cvent. Finally, in 2016, they obtained a Certificate of Membership from Meeting Professionals International.
