Obed Han

Obed H. is an accomplished aerospace engineering student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from August 2023 to May 2027. Currently, Obed serves as Mission Systems Sublead for the Urban Air Lift Mobility Challenge, where Obed designs and fabricates a passenger loading hatch/latch system and creates innovative rotatable wing designs. In addition, Obed works as a Lighting & Sound Technician, collaborating with technical teams to manage live sound and lighting for shows. As an Engineering Intern at San Carlos Flight Center, Obed has developed avionics test panels and implemented complex electronic systems. Other roles include Technology and Media Manager, where Obed transformed classroom A/V setups and managed live-streamed safety seminars for a global audience, and administrative and flight line intern positions, gaining broad insights into aviation management and maintenance.
