Alicia Muñoz

Alicia Muñoz was elected to the board in 2014. She represents District 3, which includes most of the southeastern portions of the county.

Muñoz teaches English as a second language at Cuyamaca College, where she also serves as president of the Academic Senate. She has a master’s degree in English from San Francisco State University and a bachelor’s in comparative literature from UC Berkley.

She grew up in Los Angeles and now lives in San Diego.
