Doug Provins, PE GE, is a highly experienced civil engineer with over 25 years of expertise in geotechnical, construction, and materials engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at San Diego Gas & Electric since April 2018, Doug has been involved with the company as both a consultant and internal team member since 2010. Prior to this role, Doug held positions as a Resident Engineer and Construction Manager at Kleinfelder | Simon Wong Engineering, and Principal Engineer at Solid Rock Engineering, Inc. Additionally, experience includes serving as Vice President and Principal Engineer at "G" FORCE, and holding engineering roles at Testing Engineers and Ninyo & Moore. Doug holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from San Diego State University.
