Andy Jensen

Andy Jensen is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at both Innovation Middle School and Pershing Middle School within the San Diego Unified School District since September 2019. Additionally, Andy has been associated with AVID - Advancement Via Individual Determination since April 2012, holding various roles including Staff Developer, Senior Learning Designer, and Learning Designer. Previous experience includes serving as an Educational Technology Resource Teacher and an 8th Grade Math Teacher at Farb Middle School within the San Diego Unified School District from August 2005 to December 2013, and as a Guest Teacher in the Santee School District from May 2003 to June 2005. Furthermore, Andy co-founded ReelFly, Inc. and worked as the Public Relations Director from June 2001 to June 2004. Educational achievements include a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from San Diego State University and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics. Andy also holds an undergraduate degree in Management Science from UC San Diego.
