Matthew Valdez has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Community Liaison at the Los Angeles Housing Partnership from November 2006 to August 2010. Matthew then pursued their education, attending UC Hastings College of the Law from August 2010 to May 2013, where they served as a Law Student. In 2012, they further gained legal experience as a Summer Law Clerk at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. After completing their studies, they joined Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP as an Associate from October 2013 to December 2016. Since 2017, Matthew has been associated with the San Francisco Giants, first as an Associate General Counsel and currently serving as the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, starting from January 2023.
