Jessica Olsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and environmental justice. Currently serving as the Director of Community Strategies and Resources at the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District since February 2019, Jessica oversees initiatives aimed at reducing public health disparities in underserved communities through clean air strategies. Jessica's previous roles include Program Manager at the Doolittle Institute and various positions at the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, where responsibilities ranged from air quality analysis to research supervision. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from UCLA. Additionally, Jessica demonstrated leadership as the Drum Major for the UCLA Marching Band.
