Jerry Franksen

Jerry Franksen has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Dean of Student Affairs at San Joaquin Valley College since February 2015. Throughout this role, Jerry has provided leadership across multiple campuses, focusing on academic affairs, student services, and graduate services to enhance student outcomes. Previously, Jerry contributed to the California Employers Association as an Academic Coach and held various positions at San Joaquin Valley College, including Training and Development Instructor and Academic Dean. With a Bachelor's Degree in English from California State University, Fresno, and additional training from the Disney Institute and CEA, Jerry has demonstrated a commitment to fostering employee strengths and promoting professional development in educational settings.
