Francine Craven

Francine Craven is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in both the arts and software engineering. Currently serving as a docent at the San José Museum of Art since January 2018, Francine has been active in educational initiatives, including presentations at national symposiums, and roles as the Docent Council Newsletter Editor and Treasurer. Prior to this, Francine worked as a software engineer in various prominent companies, including Cisco Systems and Scientific Atlanta, where responsibilities included software development for set-top boxes and code migration to modern systems. Francine holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from Dartmouth College and an Embedded Systems Certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Kent State University.
