Kelsey Rieger Olsen

Kelsey Rieger Olsen serves as the K-12 Manager of Curriculum and Instruction at the San José Museum of Art, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Kelsey worked as the Senior Arts Program Manager at the Community School of Music and Arts from March 2022 to December 2023, and as Program Director at Youth in Arts from August 2018 to March 2022. Kelsey's experience includes budget management, partnership development, direct-service school program coordination, and curriculum development across various arts institutions. Kelsey has also held roles such as Museum Educator and Interim Education Director at the Palmer Museum of Art, Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, Gallery Manager at the Art Alliance of Central PA, and Community Engagement and Visitor Experience Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Art Education from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
