Doug Wilson Jr.

Director of Scouting at San Jose Sharks

Doug Wilson Jr. is the current Director of Scouting for the San Jose Sharks. Prior to this, they were an Ice Hockey player for the Medibank Melbourne Ice, and before that, an Investment Representative for Qtrade Financial Group. Wilson has also interned with the San Jose Sharks in their Hockey Operations department, and with Elite Sports Properties as a Strategy Analyst.

Originally from Massachusetts, Wilson played baseball and ice hockey growing up. Doug went on to play ice hockey for Vallentuna Hockey in Sweden before coming back to the States to attend Babson College. While at Babson, Wilson interned for the Los Angeles Dodgers in their Baseball Operations department. After graduating college, they interned for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts before being hired by the San Jose Sharks in 2011.

Doug Wilson Jr. earned a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Doug is also certified by USA Hockey in Level III Coaching Certification.

Their manager is Doug Wilson, General Manager. They are on a team with Bob Boughner - Head Coach, Mark Davies - Head Team Physician, and Mike Potenza - Director of Strength & Conditioning.
