Michele Truby-Tillen

Michele Truby-Tillen has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Most recently, they worked as the Community Development Director at San Juan County starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at San Juan College's Community Learning Center from September 2012. Before joining the college, Michele worked as a Floodplain Manager at the San Juan County Office of Emergency Management from February 2005 to December 2020. Michele'searlier experience includes working as a San Juan County Health Promotion Specialist at the New Mexico Department of Health, where they were employed from 2002 to 2005.

Michele Truby-Tillen obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Psychology from San Juan College. Michele then pursued and completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Exercise Science from Forte Lewis College between 1992 and 1996. Later, in 2019-2020, they enrolled at Grand Canyon University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sociology.
