Ana Herold has a diverse work experience in the education and healthcare sectors. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Program Coordinator and Lead Teacher at Bright Horizons, where they supervised a team of teachers and provided guidance on curriculum development. Since 2010, they have been employed at the San Mateo Union High School District, initially as a Health Aide and later as the Health Services and Employee Wellness Lead. In this role, they oversee the Student Health Team and the COVID-19 Response Team, manages the Employee Wellness Program, and supports COVID-related issues such as testing and contact tracing. Ana has also been involved in organizing health-related events and coordinating responses to student emergencies.
Ana Herold attended California State University, Chico from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development. Following this, they pursued further education at San Jose State University from 2006 to 2008, earning a Master of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development.
