Alina Bell

Alina Bell has extensive work experience in informatics and data management roles in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an Operations Coordinator in the Informatics Department at InfoQuest Consulting LLC, where they supported projects at Novartis. At Novartis, they held multiple roles from 2009 to 2018, including Sr. Informatics Analyst and Operations Coordinator in the Informatics Department. Alina'sresponsibilities included managing sample registration systems, analyzing workflows, and training users in data management. In 2018, they joined Genentech as a Sr. Informatics Specialist, where they led data profiling efforts and presented findings to senior leadership. Currently, they serve as a Principal Business Analyst at Sana Biotechnology, Inc., where they collaborate with gene and cell therapy teams to develop data strategies and ensure scalable scientific data infrastructure.

Alina Bell obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biopsychology with a minor in French from UC Santa Barbara during the period of 2001 to 2005. In 2003, they studied French as a minor at Université Bordeaux Montaigne (ex - Bordeaux 3) for a brief duration. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Benchling Certified Foundational Administrator from Benchling in November 2023.
