Brandon Payne

Brandon Payne has held a variety of positions in the past nine years. In 2019, they worked as a Business Analyst for Sanametrix, Inc., where they supported the Education Demographic and Geographic Estimates (EDGE) Program through the development of GIS applications, data distribution through Esri's Open Data and Data.gov, and technical user support. Also in 2019, they worked as a Compliance Analyst for AML RightSource, where they conducted deep dive investigations into transactions flagged as potentially suspicious by client financial institutions and submitted suspicious activity reports (SARs) to FinCEN. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Research Analyst for Valador Inc., where they conducted requirements gathering, market research, vendor interviews, and gap analyses for designated National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) enterprise business systems. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Geospatial Analyst for SAIC, where they analyzed cartographic and imagery sources to improve positional accuracy of target features in client geodatabases. Finally, from 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant for the Woodrow Wilson International Center, where they provided research support to a visiting Kennan-Fulbright scholar and conducted thorough source review and English to Russian translations.
