Álvaro Escudero Barrero

Álvaro Escudero Barrero has worked in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence for the past four years. From 2022 to present, they have been a Machine Learning Researcher at Sanas. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Samsung Electronics as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher, Speech Recognition Technical Lead, and Speech Recognition Engineer. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Graduated Research Assistant Engineer and Junior Research Assistant at AUDIAS - Audio, Data Intelligence and Speech at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. During their roles, they have been responsible for cutting-edge research, developing machine learning and training pipelines, translating complex functional and technical requirements into detailed designs, and developing and maintaining production-ready Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) systems.

Álvaro Escudero Barrero has a MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which they obtained in 2017. Álvaro also has a BSc in Telecommunication Technology and Service Engineering from the same university, which they obtained in 2015.
