Zachary Rivera currently serves as an Associate Grants Program Analyst at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) since July 2021, having previously held roles as a Business Analyst II and Planning Assistant at SANDAG. Earlier experience includes a Transit Planning Internship at SANDAG and an internship at Circulate San Diego, where Zachary analyzed citywide crash data and assisted in organizing events like the Vision Zero Symposium. A Community Relations Intern role at Survivors of Torture, International involved outreach and engagement with elected officials. Zachary's early experience includes a Hall Receptionist position at St. Olaf College and an internship with Congresswoman Susan Davis, along with volunteer work at Survivors of Torture, International. Zachary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government, as well as Economics from St. Olaf College, attained in May 2017.
